Call for Applications for Fellow Membership

Japan Concrete Institute

The Japan Concrete Institute is now accepting applications for Fellow Membership 2025. If you possess the qualifications listed below and wish to undergo the qualification certification review for Fellow Membership, please fill in the application form and submit it by the deadline. The qualification certification review is conducted once a year, and the certified individuals will be announced on our website and in the Concrete Journal.

• Application Deadline: Not later than October 31, 2024
• Date of Certification: April 1, 2025

The Fellow Membership qualifications and the privileges of membership are detailed below.

(1) Fellow Membership qualification

To qualify as a Fellow Member, the candidate must be a regular member of JCI who has demonstrated excellent knowledge in concrete engineering, served in a leadership role in a responsible position for many years, contributed to society, is expected to continue to play a leading role in further revitalizing the Institute and promoting technical activities and the transmission of technology, and meets any one of the following requirements.

1. A Meritorious Deed Award winner
2. A person who has been a JCI member for not less than 30 years (including as a student member) and will be 60 years old
   Eligibility for Fellow Membership 2025

   1) Those who joined before FY1995

   ⇒ The first two digits of your membership number are between 65 and 95

   2) Those who will be 60 years or older on March 31, 2025

   ⇒ Those whose date of birth is before April 1, 1965

(2) Privileges

The Fellow Membership privileges are listed below.
(Please note that privileges are available only to those who apply for participation in advance.)
The annual membership fee is the same as that for regular members.

1. Participation fee
   • For the Annual Convention: Same fee as student members
   • For lectures and symposiums: Same fee as student members
2. Convivial party fee
   • For the Annual Convention: Same fee as student members
