- Synopsis
- The “Dam Concrete” volume of the JSCE Standard Specifications for Concrete Structures 2023 consists of two parts, “General Requirements” and “Standard Methods”. It succeeds the corresponding volume of the 2013 edition of the JSCE Standard Specifications for Concrete Structures. This latest “Dam Concrete” volume features various improvements and updates while maintaining the relationship between the “General Requirements” and “Standard Methods”. In the revision of the 2013 edition, issues for which there was not enough time for deliberation, as well as recent trends, have been addressed with additions and revisions, including 1) Temperature regulation plan, 2) Dam upgrading, 3) Rationalization of quality control, and 4) Application of precast members. The rationale and basis for each content have been compiled in the Complementary material of said standard.
