- Synopsis
- In April 2016, JIS A 5011-2 "Slag Aggregate for Concrete-Part 2: Ferro-nickel Aggregate" and JIS A 5011-3 "Slag Aggregate for Concrete-Part 3: Copper Slag Aggregate" were revised. The revisions introduced environmental safety and quality regulations, as well as ferro-nickel slag coarse aggregate as a new item covered by these standards. This paper deals with the mentioned revisions and gives an outline of "Recommendation for Mix design, Production and Construction Practice of Concrete with Ferro-nickel Slag Aggregate or Copper Slag Fine Aggregate" of the of | Architectural Institute of Japan.
