- Synopsis
- In recent years, steel-concrete composite slabs are adopted to many bridges. But they are not specified in "Specification for Highway Bridges" in Japan. So it is necessary to verify the design to satisfy required performance of "Specification for Highway Bridges" in Japan. Therefore the authors carried out a static test and a wheel-tracking test for the slab on an intermediate support of continuous girders, and a fatigue test for welding between I-shape steel and floor plate, to ensure the endurance and the serviceability.
