- Synopsis
- The Committee on Hybrid Structures of the Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE) published the Standard Specifications for Hybrid Structures-2009, which is the revised version of the Draft Guideline for Performance Verification of Steel-Concrete Hybrid Structures published in 2002. This Standard Specification also adopt the concept of performance-based design procedure and cover a wide range of the hybrid structures in the three parts; Common Part, Composite Members Part and Mixed Structure Part. The Composite Members Part deals with the composite members such as steel-concrete composite beams, steel-concrete composite slabs, steel-concrete composite slabs, steel-concrete sandwich slabs, steel reinforced concrete members and concrete-filled tubular members. The Mixed Structure Part deals with various connections between different types of members with different materials. The Common Part includes materials models for numerical analysis and shear force-slip relationship of various shear connectors.
