Study on the Feasibility of Crushed Sand Blended with Fly-ash

- Synopsis
- Sand blended with fly-ash was proposed as a mixture method of fly-ash in concrete. By using this sand (here-after fly-ash blended sand), fly-ash concrete can be produceded without a storage facility or batching equipment for fly-ash. In the laboratory tests and onsite tests we investigated the fundamental properties of concrete using fly-ash blended sand in order to promote the practical use of fly-ash blended sand. From these results we can conclude that the feasibility of fly-ash blended sand is considerably high.
