Concrete Journal, Vol.46, No.4, Apr. 2008
- Synopsis
- Particulars of developments in mixing method so called as SEC or DM and their effects on early age hydration of cement are described. It has been recently found that DM method of mixing accelerates hydration of cement. On this regard it is discussed that this effect could be explained by behavior of Ca ion based on an assumption proposed by R.B. Williamson and the author in 1969.
