Replaceable Slab of Open-Type Piers

- Synopsis
- The authors proposed an idea of "replaceable" slab for open-type piled piers to simplify maintenance work such as inspection, repair and renovation, resulting in reduction of life cycle costs of the piers. In this study, new beam-slab joint systems were proposed to realize the replaceable slab based on results of loading tests on models of beam-slab structures.
