Revised Building Standard Law and the Present Conditions of the Correspondence

- Synopsis
- The revised Building Standard Law enforced in Heisei 19 does not have an essential change technically. But as it has appeared in a sharp decrease of quantity of start of construction, the custom of the conventional architectural design and construction system has been smashed. The contents of the revised law are composed of (1)revision of the contents of the detailed technical provisions, (2)foundation of the structural calculation judging system. (3)minister recertification of structural calculation program and (4)strict examination and inspection. Although what each means is clear, we have the confusion by the shortage of publicity to the people. In the long run, it is most apprehensive about deterioration of the structural designer by toughening of regulations.
