- Synopsis
- Seismic risk is applied to judgment of efficient seismic measures and earthquake disaster prevention, because the seismic damage can be described as an amount of loss directly. This report outlines a definition of seismic risk and the seismic risk estimation method. Especially, the methods of evaluating a seismic fragility curve and a damage function are shown for reinforced concrete structures. As the application example, the building and the civil engineering facilities are adopted, and then risk assessment procedures are introduced.
