Properties and Performances of Porous Concrete Pavement

- Concrete pavement using the porous concrete is considered as the promising technique, because it has the permeability and drainage ability as well as its durability. Based on the various executed efforts about material and construction method, the basic technology meeting the required performance has been almost established. In this paper, after the quality and the performances under the traffic of the roads are summarized, the advantages of this pavement like durability, driving conformability in a rainy day, low-noise surface and so on are discussed.
