- Synopsis
- Incinerated ash generated from the incineration of sawage sludge has been recycled for use in concrete for some time. However, the quality used for recycling has been limited. In expectation for a wider use and commercialization, the authors have conducted further quality improvements on incinerated ash. This has led to the reduction of harmful influences to the workability, and stability in the quality of concrete. At the same time, it has been possible to clarify the strength development properties related to the pozzolanic reactivity of the improved incinerated ash.
