- Synopsis
- In recent years, fine aggregate for concrete in Japan has become scarce and of poor quality due to a ban on the mining of sea sand for environmental reasons, and because of the depletion of pit sand. Imports of fine aggregate from China have therefore increased. In this paper, the authors discuss the Chinese national standard on fine aggregates and compare it with the Japanese Industrial Standards.
