- The maintenance construction expense of existing facilities of maintenance, mending, repair, rehabilitation, retrofit, and replacement, etc. shows the tendency to increase in a lot of infrastructure maintenance businesses that public is high now at the time of change from the flow economy into the stock economy a social struture. Then, the decision of a new management technique by which the infrastructure stock is effectively used is hoped for. We are expected as this new management technique. The background, the problem of the introduction of asset management in the maintenance management, and the problem of the maintenance management of the concrete structure are described.
