Concrete Structures Using Electric Arc Furnace Oxidizing Slag Aggregate

- The quality of Electrical arc furnace oxidizing slag aggregate as aggregates for concrete was standardized into JIS A 5011-4. And, "Recommendations doe Design and Construction of Concrete Structures Using Electric Arc Furnace Oxidizing Slag Aggregate" was published by Japan Society of Civil Engineers. This Paper describes the outline of the recommendation. In this recommencation, the general standard methods were shown on design and construction of the concrete using the electric furnace oxidizing slag aggregate. In addition, the manual for mix design was also made in order to carry out the mixture of the electric furnace oxidizing slag aggregate concrete.
