MMA Polymer Concrete for Prolonging the Life of Concrete Structures

- Synopsis
- Polymer concrete with liquid resin mainly composed methyl methacrylate (MMA)
has been developed. In order to develop MMA polymer concrete, we considered
the required performance as follows.
1) It can be handled like ordinaly cement concrete.
2) It has excellent properties.
3) Its cost can be reduced.
This paper reports the process of development and the fundamental properties of MMA polymer concrete. - Keywords:
