Construction Test and Nondestructive Test on Precast Shell Column

- Precast cocnrete shell form is the construction method which have many merit such as saving labor and wood resources at construction sites. Under unique methods of manufacture, many types of precast shell for column, girder and wall have been developed and used. However it is the point of construction that the state of site-concrete can not be confirmed by the eye for column type shell form. This report shows the results of construction test on precast shell column to confirm the propriety of quality control method and state of site-placed-concrete. And the same time, nondestructive testing of the column by thermograph was carried out.
