The Recent Used Style of The Steel Fiber Concrete for The Overlay Method of RC Deck Slabs

- Synopsis
- The overlay method has been adopted to reinforce the damaged RC deck slabs of bridges. Kinki Structural Division of Construction Ministry has improved the method that can be applied for small and middle size bridges with different spans, and recently decided to publish the results as a manual for the method. In the overlay method, the long size steel fiber reinforced concrete with the use of ultra-rapid-hardening cement has been decided to be used in the method of both mechanical and man-power construction. We are reporting about the basic theory of the foundation.
