- Synopsis
- CFT is an excellent structural member in performance of structures and fire resistance. CFT is described in the mStandard for Structural Calculation of Steel Reinforced Concrete Structures ; AIJnetc.. However, strength of concrete portion is not expected even if the design is followed by general procedure due to recent rasearches, that is, the assurance of filed up of concrete in a tube, and the development of concrete strength, ANUHT has performed sufficient experiments of structures, fire resistance and construction utilizing high strength materials. And ANUHT has summarized the design procedure considering synergistic effect and reliable construction procedure in the mStandard for CFT structuresn. Concept of this standard, it's distinctive feature/effect, construction planning, and current application to the actual structures are presented in this report.
