- Synopsis
- The Divisional Council of Civil Engineering,Japanese Industrial Standards Committee,had reconsidered JIS standards for concrete which are specified mainly materials. In March 1998,the Divisional Council reported a Draft of JIS Development Plan. This plan is considered to harmonize the trend of international standardization of ISO and European countries. Futhermore,the plan is to develop JIS standards in order to provide more comprehensive outline of concrete,such as concrete structure,concrete,and its material,including precast concrete products,considering the future work of transforming into performance-based standard.
