- Synopsis
- This paper summarizes the state of art on concrete pavement design procedures.First,on jointed concrete pavements,design procedures in both Japan and foreign countries are explained in roads,airports,ports,separately.Second,design procedures of continuouslyreinforced concrete pavement,prestressed concrete pavement,roller compacted concrete pavement,steel fiber reinforced concrere pavement and block pavement are described. Finally,new structural design procedure specified by the Jpan Society of Civil Engineers, which is based on the pavement serviceability,is summarized briefly.
