Sludge Discharge in Centrifugal Casting

- Centrifugal casting is one of the better compaction methods to produce high-strengthconcrete producuts, for example, pile, pipe and other structural producuts. But thismethod has the problem of sludge discharge. So recently agents and materials for preventing sludge discharge in centrifugal casting have been reserched and developed.This paper describes on these agents and materials. These agents and materials consistof powder adjusting grading, viscosity increasing agent, special mineral, air entrainingagent, coherent agent and so on. The function of these agents and materials are mainly explained by rheology on sludge flow.
